Cal America can arrange comfortable and safe place
for our students. You can choose from American homestay family,
apartment, dormitory, or hotel if you plan to stay for a short time.
Deadline to request housing service for any type of hosing is strictly
to 4 weeks prior to your arrival. However, it will be very helpful
if you request a service as soon as possible, 6-8 weeks before your
arrival is ideal, because some apartment or dormitory require that
you read and sign contract in advance. Please also note that some
type of hosing require deposit at the time we make arrangement.

Cal America has made an effort to find nice and reliable American
families to host our students while they study at Cal America. This
option is best for younger students who need attention from adults
and for any students who want to experience and share culture, leisure
and lifestyle with American people. It is also best if plan to arrange
other type of housing by yourself but you need a place to stay for
a short term. Staying with American family will also help to improve
English skills since you are required to communicate with the family
in English. Monthly fee includes a private bedroom, own or shared
bathroom, and 2 meals per day. However, you can make special arrangement
with the family if you want to have more than 2 meals.

distance from school. You can choose private room or shared room.
The rooms are usually furnished and include two meals per day. This
option is best if you are independent but need to have someone take

Cal America can arrange room in a hotel close to school for you.
This option is best if you are looking for a place to stay temporarily
for a very short period of time while waiting to move in to homestay
family, apartment, or dormitory. It is also good if you plan to
study at Cal America for shorter time like 1 or 2 weeks. We can
also arrange a hotel room for your parents or friends while they
visit you.
