Cal America can arrange comfortable and safe housing for our students. You can choose from homestay, dormitory or hotel (if you plan to stay for a shorter period of time). The deadline to request housing service for any type of housing is 4-6 weeks prior to your arrival date. Homestay

Cal America offers homestay accommodations with English-speaking host families. Our carefully selected and experienced host families are located within reasonable commuting distance from the school. Residing with a host family can help you improve your communication skills as you also get accustomed to American culture. The monthly (30 days) fee includes a private bedroom with a bed, linens, desk, closet or dresser, private or shared bathroom and 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner). Most of our host families have wireless internet available.

Rate:	$900 per 30 days $500 per 2 weeks
Placement fee:	$250 (must be paid to Cal America when you request service)
Deposit:	None
Includes:	Private room, private or shared bathroom, 2 meals per day, and utilities
Notes:	Long distant telephone service is not included

Dormitory

Cal America can arrange reasonable dormitory stay within walking distance from our school. The rooms are furnished and shared with 2 to 4 students. A meal-inclusive option (two meals per day) is available upon request. Wireless internet available

Rate:	$450 to $550 (shared room and bathroom) per 30 days
Placement fee:	$250 (must be paid to Cal America when you request service)
Deposit: Meals:	$100 ($50 cleaning fee will be deducted) Optional. $100 (per 30 days ) for breakfast and dinner
Accommodation:	Shared bedroom, bathroom, common use living room, kitchen and laundry room
Notes:	Telephone is not included

Hotel

Cal America can make hotel reservations for students who cannot decide on housing prior to their arrival. This option is best if you are looking for a place to stay temporarily while waiting to move in to a homestay, apartment, or dormitory. It is also ideal if you plan to study at Cal America for a short period of time (1 or 2 weeks).

Rate:	$120-200 per night (depending on the season and hotel)
Placement fee:	None, however, we will charge $100 if you cancel reservation 72 hours prior to your arrival
