Authorizations and Affiliations

Cal America is approved by the Bureau of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services or USCIS (formerly known as INS) to accept and enroll foreign students and to issue I-20s to foreign students through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System or SEVIS.

Cal America is recognized by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education or BPPVE as an institution offering Intensive English and Test Preparation courses to international students.

Cal America is an active member of The American Association of Intensive English Programs or AAIEP. All of our English courses are compatible with the AAIEP standards for post- secondary intensive English programs.

Cal America Los Angeles is approved by Educational Testing Service or ETS to be an official testing center for the IBT-TOEFL and Institutional TOEFL exams.

Cal America Long Beach is approved by ETS to be an official testing center for the IBT-TOEFL and TOEIC exams.

Cal America Los Angeles is also an official Lasergrade testing location. .
